Giving back to the community is a core value for Hindman Construction. We’ve long been a strong believer in building better communities through serving the needs of our neighbors.
The following are some of the community service projects that we have supported by donating our time, talents and resources.
Make it Right Foundation
Make It Right builds sustainable homes, buildings and communities for people in need.
It began from the desperate need for housing in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward after Hurricane Katrina. Their work in New Orleans has led to innovations in affordable home building – proof that high-quality, healthy homes can and should be available for everyone.
Today, the Make It Right Foundation is sharing their knowledge of affordable green home building with communities around the country and around the world. ► www.makeitright.org
Hindman construction is proud to have combined their talents with Method Homes to frame ten modular, LEED certified homes for the Make it Right Foundation at their Ferndale location.
Generations Early Learning and Family Center
Over a May weekend, the entire Hindman Construction team volunteered our skills and abilities to construct three 10’x10′ storage buildings for the Generations Early Learning and Family Center. “That’s seven guys working as hard as we can for a great cause.” We look forward to helping Generations complete the move they made this spring to their new location in Fairhaven. The new storage buildings we’re constructed in time for the folks at Keller Williams Realty to come in and paint polish them during their annual RED Day volunteering event.
